Focus
Audio protocols for the mind
that never fully stops
A library for activation, focus, stress management, reset and recovery, built around the way your teams actually spend their day.
What the protocols draw on
The protocols draw on three bodies of work: research on the brain’s default mode network, which becomes active during rest and supports memory and planning; studies of slow, guided breathing, including the cyclic sighing trial by Balban and colleagues (Cell Reports Medicine, 2023); and yoga nidra, the guided practice now often called non-sleep deep rest. Each library is then written for the specific demands of your environment.
How it fits into the working week
In Gloria Mark’s research at the University of California, Irvine, people who were interrupted took on average about twenty-three minutes to return to the task they had left. A Focus library gives teams short recordings for the moments that pile up around that: settling before a meeting that matters, coming down after a hard conversation, closing the day. It is updated each quarter as the organisation’s priorities change. Pricing is per organisation, and it runs on the phones and laptops people already use.
Built for
Premium coworking
Recordings members can use at their desk or in the quiet room, written for your spaces and your community. Members pay for the space. What they are really after is the state of mind the space was designed for.
Startups
A daily recovery practice for founders and early teams who work long hours for long stretches.
Corporates
Recordings for leadership teams: before a board meeting, after a long-haul flight, at the end of a heavy week.
High-intensity firms
Law, consulting and finance, where long hours of concentrated work are part of the job.
